Verseau Futures
At Le Verseau, every student receives personalised guidance and support to help them choose the right path for their future studies and careers.
Throughout 5th and 6th Secondary a number of initiatives prepare Le Verseau students for their future studies and careers, including the 9-month Research Project, lunchtime Careers’ Guidance talks and Work Experience Days.
We are proud of each and every one of our students, as success takes many different forms. At Le Verseau, we see it as our mission to help every student find the path that best aligns with their individual strengths, interests and aspirations.
A recognised diploma with global value
Le Verseau in Bierges offers a General Education programme. All graduating students receive the CESS diploma (Certificat d’Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur), recognised by higher education institutions in Belgium and around the world.
In Belgium, this opens the door to:
- a 3-year Bachelor’s degree at a university college (Haute École),
- or a full university Master’s degree in the faculty of their choice.
Students wishing to pursue studies in Engineering or Medicine must sit a highly competitive national entrance exam. Thanks to our strong teaching in Maths and Sciences, Le Verseau students have achieved excellent success rates in these fields.
Well-prepared for international study
Those wishing to study abroad or enrol in English-taught programmes at Belgian universities are exceptionally well prepared — both academically and linguistically.
In recent years, Le Verseau students have been accepted at renowned institutions such as:
- USA: Princeton, Harvard, Columbia
- UK: Cambridge, Bristol, Imperial College, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Loughborough, Lancaster, Exeter
- Netherlands: Maastricht, Groningen, Amsterdam, TU Delft
- and prestigious universities in France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Canada, and Denmark.
What sets Verseau graduates apart?
Our alumni stand out for their:
- Intercultural awareness
- Strong language, research and presentation skills
- Self-confidence
- Originality and critical thinking
- Creative problem-solving
- Genuine commitment to humanitarian causes
Entrepreneurial success
These same qualities contribute to our students’ outstanding performance in the Mini-Enterprise programme, organised by LJE (Les Jeunes Entreprises), where they have earned recognition at both national and European levels.
These challenging and enriching experiences often inspire students to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, rather than following more conventional career paths.
At Le Verseau, we believe that such transferable skills are essential for young people to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world.

VSAL international coaching package
If they choose to subscribe to the VSAL programme students will benefit from an additional international coaching package which takes them from the first steps in researching potential institutions and courses, to completing their application process and providing all the required documentation in English.
