Admissions

Elementary

For Kindergarten and Primary sections.

You will find in this section general information of our process below, but if you need further clarification or additional details, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We understand that each family may have unique questions or require additional information, and we are here to assist you every step of the way. Our team is always ready to provide personalised support to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process for your child.

Registration process

As we operate on a waiting list basis, registrations are accepted throughout the year via a form that is available upon request or can be downloaded below. For assistance, please contact us by phone at +32 10 23 17 17 or by email fondamental@eiverseau.be

As soon as we receive this document, your child will be added to our waiting list, and we will be able to get back to you as the waiting list evolves (this document must be renewed each year).

Priority is given to families who already have a child in the school.

School visits

In view of the number of requests, visits are by appointment only and:

  • only from January for the following year (e.g. visit from January 2026 for the start of the school year in September 2026) or
  • depending on confirmation possibilities for the current year (e.g. visit in November if there is still a place available).

Confirmation

Beginning of confirmations: mid-April of the school year.

  • Places offered (by email) according to availability, following a visit and a personal interview.
  • Confirmation sent at the end of the process and after a favourable decision on your part.
  • Included in the confirmation:
    • list of documents to be provided for the student’s administrative file
    • list of class materials to be provided
    • date of invitation to the morning meeting before the start of the school year.

To support the child’s integration into the class, no new admissions are accepted after mid-April.

Reception class

Open from January to June only

  • Only for ‘clean’ children who have reached 2.5 years of age by the time they start school.
  • Start date spread out between January and the end of April. For the child’s integration into the class, no entry is possible after mid-April.
  • 15 places maximum
  • Priority given to families who already have a child in the school.
  • Visit only from the end of September for the start of the following school year (e.g. visit in October 2026 for the start of the school year in January 2027).

Application forms

Our applications can be downloaded and sent in via email.

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive confirmation of receipt, and our admissions team will be in touch to guide you through the next steps.

Secondary

We recognise that families exploring Secondary education often have specific questions about curriculum, pathways, and student support. We are here to help guide you through the process with care and clarity.

General admissions information is available below, but should you need more detail or personalised advice, please feel free to reach out. Our team is ready to support you in making the best possible transition for your child into our Secondary programme.

Registration 1st secondary

As the International School Le Verseau is subject to the “Décret Inscriptions” of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (COGI), registrations for the first year of secondary school take place during a specific three-week period in January/February.

The Single Registration Form (FUI) will be provided by your child’s current primary school. This is the document on which you will indicate your choices of secondary schools.

If our school is your first choice, we strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment to ensure the smooth organization and processing of the registration (if you are living abroad, this can be done by proxy), strictly during the official period set by the FWB.

Priority is given to families who already have a child enrolled in the secondary section.

To make an appointment, you can contact the School Secretary’s Office either by phone at +32 10 23 17 27 or by email at the following address: secondaire@eiverseau.be.

All information regarding the “Décret Inscriptions” is available on the official website: http://www.inscription.cfwb.be

No registration requests can be submitted before this period. However, if you arrive after the official period, your request will be considered once the ranking has been finalised.

Registration 2nd to 5th secondary

As we operate on a waiting list basis, registrations are accepted throughout the year via a form that is available upon request or can be downloaded here. For assistance, please contact us by phone at +32 10 23 17 27 or by email secondaire@eiverseau.be

6th Year : students wishing to change school between 5th and 6th year Secondary must keep the same options and the same number of periods per week. If Le Verseau does not offer the same choice of subjects, the student will not be able to enrol.

School visits

Due to the high number of requests, visits are by appointment only and:

  • from January onwards for the following school year (e.g. visits from January 2026 for enrolment in September 2026), or
  • depending on availability throughout the current school year (e.g. a visit in November if a place is still available).

You are also welcome to attend our Information Meeting, which will be an opportunity to receive information about the school and enjoy a guided tour.

Information meeting for parents and children interested in enrolling in 1st or 2nd year takes place in December or January each year, and the information meeting about choosing options in 3rd, 4th or 5th year is organised in February or March.

Confirmation

Confirmation for students entering the 1st year of secondary school will be handled directly by the COGI.

For students on the waiting list for entry into years 2 to 5, any available places will be offered after the exam period in June, by phone and/or email.

A confirmation letter will then be sent, specifying the start date and details regarding the beginning of the school year.
